I arrived home from RAGT17 late last night. I had a great time meeting readers and other writers and spending time with people from Entangled Publishing. Here are a few things I learned at the conference.

1. Long bench seats will turn into teeter totters if everyone stands up except the person sitting on the end.
2. The Cincinnati airport hotel is actually in Erlanger, Kentucky. I have no idea why this is true, but it is.
3. People who read also tend to be people who love animals and are willing to talk about their pets and share dog/cat pictures.
4. You will get off the elevator on the the wrong floor at least once during every conference.
5. Coffee is the most valued beverage at any conference followed by wine/beer.
